1-Q: What does it mean when--in meditation--I see myself pull away from the earth and all the way out of the universe, and I'm sitting with God and some others looking at the universe from outside it, and then I see the whole universe zip into me? The whole thing moved into me.
1-A: The short answer is it means you resent reality. Secondly, it means you fear Oneness. A mystic is one who is, or is striving to be, One with ultimate reality. This is an excellent illustration by your creativity. You are definitely a mystic. Cancel those 2 negative emotions and experience the rapture!
2-Q: What was the question Perceval didn't ask when he came the first time to the Grail castle?
2-A: He failed to ask whom the grail served, but you already knew that. You missed your opportunity to ask a question about mysticism aka you. So you are somewhat in the role of Perceval. Cancel your fear and come again.
3-Q: Please explain the phrase "Mystic Master". Thanks!
3-A: As in any field of endeavor, you begin as an apprentice, then advance to a journeyman, and finally to a master. In the field of mysticism, one starts at a point in which disillusionment has already taken place. For example, one realizes that money does not equal happiness. This entered apprentice condition is what is commonly referred to as a seeker. After years of seeking "the meaning of life" and finding only fragments of answers, one inevitably finds some teacher whos teachings hit a home run. Then one realizes that one's continued disillusionment consists entirely of bad memories/emotional pain AND that these painful thoughts can be eliminated from one's mind. The journeyman level consists of following the procedures that bring ever greater clarity until one has adequate proficiency to instantly analyze problems in other people at which point one is called a mystic master or adept.
4-Q: Last year I stopped being productive. Now it is a big chore to get simple tasks done. Why?
4-A: This is not a question relevant to mysticism until you realize that the place where the battle to succeed or fail takes place is in your mind. A mind cluttered with emotional pain must necessarily be inefficient as millions upon millions of brain cells are occupied holding onto self-defeating thoughts. An effort must be made to let go and unclutter the mind by turning your analytical faculties inward. This effort won't happen without first experiencing overwhelming disillusionment that provides the motivation to be free. "I'm sad as hell and i'm not going to take this anymore!"
5-Q: I'm not getting how I can think of resentment as being appreciated. Can you expound on that, please?
5-A: Most typically, the phrase " I love you " is in reality resentment. Love cannot be transmitted as an idea since it is the creator of all ideas. So, for example, when you are a child and your mother says, "I love you" that's hogwash. She really resents you because the responsibility of you is keeping her from her imagined life of greatness (low self-esteem). Therefore you feel bad about it and blame yourself (your low self-esteem) and the process becomes your process. Since there is never any actual love, the only reward you have is being resented (being told I love you and that that's a good thing). It's a variant of the Stockholm syndrome. There eventually (hopefully anyway) comes a time when you decide you have to make a choice. That choice is: I'm better off with no thoughts than thoughts learned from child abuse.
6-Q: I know you tried to explain it before, but I don't really comprehend the "I am stressed-out so I have to go to a brain doctor" thing!
6-A: You make the mistake of believing that you are stressed by something outside of you, when in fact you are stressed by something inside of you: your ideas. Where would these be located? Why in your mind of course. That's why you go to a "brain doctor"- to eliminate your ideas. Ideas and negative emotions are the 2 sides of the same coin. Here's the point, you have to go to a "brain doctor" not with the idea that "I have to defeat such and such event in the world", but rather, "I don't want to live with the anxiety of it anymore".
7-Q: What exactly is stress?
7-A: Stress is the overpowering wrong idea that you have to control reality instead of the simple, pleasant, relaxing, natural, peaceful KNOWING that you can only be controlled by reality. The only thing you really have to understand is that YOU are more powerful than your thoughts. Grasp this all-powerful truth and be free. This IS the gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven. You've heard it before in terms of "Give no thought for your life" and "Resist not evil". A mind that accepts reality and thus abandons fighting is in ECSTASY. You've heard this one too, "Know ye not that ye are gods?".Accepting reality is HOW you know it.
8-Q: What do "brain doctors" have to do with mysticism?
8-A: The trick to all this "brain doctoring" stuff is pattern recognition. Can you identify what you feel when you think about something? Can you discern the difference between feeling angry, sad, mean etc. If you can, you can start today. If you cant, decide to learn. This is the mystic path to cosmic power aka discipleship. If you go this route, when really, because who would consciously choose to be blind, you'll have to face some startling illusions. This overcoming of the world IS the cosmic power aka walking on water or, better yet, walking on sunshine.
9-Q: Why "brain doctors"? I thought I am supposed to meditate!
9-A: In ancient times, your only option was to sit in a cave and meditate. Nowadays, we have hi-tech too. Don't be confused. You still have to practice some form of meditation in order to establish the intent of turning the mind inwards and "lighting the fire of purification", but this doesn't have to be some foreign, rigid, ritualistic affair. What's important is engaging your will to force your own mind to release its own pain. When it comes to "brain doctors", you have a choice of either the rifle or shotgun approach. If it's just a few specific ideas that you are concerned with, you go with the rifle approach and that would be a n-e-t (neuro-emotional technique) practioner. A neuro-emotional technique practioner will help you identify the negative emotions buried in your subconscious based on your concept of what's stressing you, thus bringing them into your awareness so you can release them. If it's more of an "I'm stressed-out" situation that you can't pinpoint, you go with the shotgun or neurotherapy approach. A neurotherapist will use a computer to return your brainwaves to a normal frequency. When that happens, the negative emotions/bad memories are discharged from those particular brain cells. Either way or both ways, when you experience it for the first time, you're going to immediately see the actual message of all religions. Concepts like return to innocence, nirvana, born again, redemption, and the living god suddenly make sense. ALL you have to do is accept God's grace. No more fighting over something purely imaginary. Live for and from that moment! That's what mysticism is all about.
10-Q: My church teaches that mysticism is dangerous. Where do I put my faith?
10-A: The Pharisees taught that mysticism was dangerous too. Mysticism is the willful effort to investigate your own subconscious for the purpose of eliminating pain. For example, "I am sad all day long. I don't want to be sad anymore. What can I do about it?" Who in their right mind would oppose that? You see from this example that you don't have to acquire anything except an answer. Jesus said, "Seek and ye shall find. Ask and it shall be given. Knock and it shall be opened for you." Life really is that simple. Self-Awareness is the key (Accepting that you are unhappy). Then the search for a new life begins (Without the unhappiness). Then you finally find the actual source of your unhappiness hidden in your subconscious mind. Eliminating your first bit of unhappiness immediately results in increased happiness. Obvious, yes? Eliminating all your unhappiness returns your mind to its natural state: unending ecstatic bliss. The peace of God which surpasses all understanding. The purpose of the church is to continue the teachings of its founder. Sounds like yours doesn't fulfill its purpose. Put your faith in reality.
11-Q: Why can’t I transcend the intellect/mind? I realize “after the fact” of my wrong thinking but it seems events must take place and I choose to have an emotional response before I can become witness to the same event without an emotional effect.
11-A: Hermes Trismegistus states: ALL is mind. Therefore you are trying to transcend all that is. See the futility in trying to transcend yourself-like drilling a hole thru your head to hear better. Reframe your question into, "What is stressing me out?" You will find the answer is fear. You may have heard the advice: feel the fear and do it anyway. This is called facing your illusions. If you cancel your fear, this "door to salvation" will close.
12-Q: Can the mind truly know anything without “being” what it knows?
12-A: In yoga, the 3 aspects of mind are sat- existence, chit- conscious intelligence, ananda- bliss. The Rosicrucians say life, light, love. In its whole state, mind is aware of what it is. In its fractured state, form, knowing, and being become, shall we say, illusory relevant. It's like white light before the prism and the rainbow afterwards. So yes and no is the total answer.
13-Q: Vernon Howard has stated “a problem of the mind cannot be solved with the mind” so is mind “ALL” or nothing?
13-A: Mind is all. The Gnostic term "Nous" meaning chaos or the void is the alpha and omega. It contains both spirit and soul as undifferentiated and experiences both as imaginary forms. Vernon Howard was my first teacher and I can't say enough good things about him, but this is a poor choice of words on his part. His message is always intended for beginners. You're not a beginner. What he is saying is "your mind" meaning your low self-esteem. So for example, your low self-esteem thinks it has to have so much money or so many material possessions in order for YOU to be happy when in fact what is preventing YOU from being happy is the existence of the low self-esteem itself. Wrongness cannot use logic to achieve rightness. He's trying to tell a beginner mired in low self-esteem to look to a higher power aka God.
14-Q: Why do i have a strong desire to control time? e.g. schedules, people, places, impatience, etc…
14-A: You are sad and you hate your limited life. You want to return to the glory of your whole self and experience unending ecstatic bliss. Follow the mystic path home. Note the connection between sadness and hate. See the obvious difference between the "self" and the "Self".
15-Q: Why do I wander about aimlessly?
15-A: You are content to suffer!
16-Q: What should I be aiming at?
16-A: You should be aiming at the center of your Self. Simply realize that you are not happy and then take the most efficient action necessary to become happy by disempowering each and every unhappy thought in your mind.
17-Q: I meditate constantly, I've read every book on the subject, and I understand the subject matter thoroughly. Why am I still in the body?
17-A: The 3 components of reality are life, light, and love. You take life for granted and devote all your energy into light, but you have totally ignored love. Everybody forgets the love component because nobody has ever experienced it, so it's treated as an abstract concept. You have to want love like a drowning man wants air. Then, in like fashion, you'll stick your head up into the astral plane and be completely overwhelmed by it.
18-Q: Does the mind live on beyond the physical body’s death?
18-A: Mind is eternal. Mind produces the body. "Your" mind, however, gets parceled out in accordance with the overall energy needs of the system. So, for example, your low self-esteem might "reincarnate" as an aardvark, your meannes as a hyena, you sadness as a cactus, and your fear as a rock. See the early Star Trek episode "The City on the Edge of Forever". How that guardian works is pretty close to how God how works. Some mist descends from a higher sphere and condenses into a movie image. That's the life we experience.
19-Q: What’s the difference between mind and soul?
19-Q: Mind can be observed either in its static or kinetic form and is always both at the same time. Mind (oneness) contains both positive (soul) and negative (spirit). The gobbledygook about "your" soul is dead wrong. That's the same as saying "your" mind, meaning your low self-esteem.
20-Q: I think of mind as ego and something to be transcended.
20-A: What you are really trying to transcend is your current energy level. See David Hawkins chart on page 66, I think, of Power vs Force. Fear has more power than low self-esteem. That's why Vernon Howard is always trying to scare you into waking up. Something has to say, "My God, you're right". Like in an intervention. The power structure is exponential, so joy is many, many times more powerful than low self-esteem. So there you see the balance within reality. As the energy level approaches joy, the life power is also increased dramatically. Thus is revealed the Fountain of Youth, The Holy Grail, The Elixer of Immortality.
21-Q: How do I let go of the physical?
21-A: You cease crying altogether, then a distillation event will separate you automatically.
22-Q: When I read of the lives of the spiritual masters, I notice that they all seem to be totally innocent of this world. What's up with that?
22-A: They all suffer from low self-esteem without exception.
23-Q: I'm intrigued by what you say, but I can't connect it to my own life. I don't know where to start. I'm lost.
23-A: You suffer from the negative emotion of low self-esteem, but low self-esteem is is too vague of an emotion for you to begin with. That's why you keep looking at it like a scientist and are unable to completely grasp the problem and pull it out by its roots. Forget mysticism for the moment and let's talk nuclear physics. If you want to increase power in the reactor, what do you add? NOTHING. You remove the control rods and it starts a chain reaction because thats what uranium does. Likewise if you want your mind to produce bliss, you don't add anything, you remove the negative emotion based thought patterns.
A mystic simply asks himself, "Am I in bliss?" As the answer is no, he then asks, "What negative emotion can I remove right now to move in that direction?" THEN HE DOES IT. There's no dwelling (crying) in what-if scenarios. This requires a complete change in life priorities. Say good-bye to self-defensive efforts to become a billionaire. A mystic makes the 60 minutes and 60 dollars a month available to get help from a n-e-t practioner etc.
Table your number 1 problem (low self-esteem) for the moment and let's work on increasing the power of your joy by eliminating something easier to grasp: sadness. This is so basic, but it's what's always overlooked. Sadness can never know what happiness is, but it has the ability to IMAGINE what happiness is. That's where the IDEAS come from that you have to have a pretty wife or a big home or a sportscar or take vacations to exotic locales. The reality is that THE EXPERIENCE of those things is not happiness. The EXPERIENCE of the ABSENCE of SADNESS is happiness. That is to say the Void, Nirvana, Kingdom of Heaven is/are the absence of sadness. Bliss is the default state that's built into the system. That's why low self-esteem can't know perfection, can't rise above the level of the intellect, can't solve its own identity crisis. Just correct the MALFUNCTION as efficiently as possible! So what holds you back? Your resentment in the form of, "But I was told, or I was taught, or I believe, or but I want, or it's not worth the opportunity cost of what I could have if I worked that extra 1 hour a month and pocketed that 60 dollars."
Sometimes a picture's worth a 1000 words. Where can you see pictures of what you feel? In the Tarot. You are at the 9 of cups and UNSURE about advancing to the 10 of cups that you CONSTANTLY THINK about. Biddy has a great site for researching the Tarot: http://www.biddytarot.com/cards_list.php?arcana=Minor&minor_arcana=1 . How to get to the 10 of cups? Eliminate the negative energies in your system that the image of the 9 of cups represents. It's not 9 + 1 = 10. It's 9 - (-1) = 10!!!!
The choice is YOURS. If YOU decide to choose with your low self-esteem, "you" will ALWAYS choose "I'm not sure, it can't be that simple, or it's not really worth it". So decide to choose with a different "you", like your fear. Then the choice becomes, "If I don't do this, I'm going to suffer from now til the end of time". Changing the "you" YOU choose with is what Vernon Howard always sets out to accomplish.
24-Q: What is THE SECRET of mysticism?
24-A: The secret is that you be your own best friend. Not your ideas, Not your money, Not your cat. YOU.
25-Q: Why can't I just ignore my thoughts?
25-A: Ignoring your thoughts won't work very long, because it takes energy to ignore your thoughts. That's what you're already doing now. That's why you have to sleep 8 hrs. You could force your mind into an alpha pattern thru medical marijuana or into a theta pattern thru hypnosis, but this is still just as energy robbing as
repressing, tabling, or burying your thoughts. What you should do is PROCESS them with mindfulness, not drift on in mindlessness.
26-Q: Why not live in the present moment without past or future?
26-A: Why not, indeed. Simply knowing this cannot make you happy. You have to agree to let it happen.
27-Q: What is Enlightenment?
27-A: Enlightenment occurs when you realize there are a whole host of independent little "who you ares" living within "what" YOU are.
28-Q: What is the all-seeing eye?
28-A: It's not the 3rd eye or anything along those lines. It's that, at long last, all your little "selves" are extinguished and power is consolidated into the one true Self.
29-Q: I'm really struggling to understand the mysteries of life. What am I missing?
29-A: The very existence of your IDEA that you have to figure out the mysteries of life is the problem. It's called low self-esteem. It doesnt really matter whether you figure it out or not. Your low self-esteem THINKS that if it is successful in figuring it out, it can relax, or somehow feel superior. Think in terms of a zero sum game. What does matter is that your low self-esteem exists at the expense of your joy, by robbing it of energy. Make the effort to take energy out of your low-self esteem and put it into joy. This is called psychological alchemy. Just keep at it until you forget how to be concerned with the mysteries of life. Then there will no longer be any demarkation between you and it. Then you are the mystery of life: Oneness. It's the hardest thing in the world to understand, until you do it the first time. Then it is so absurdly simple. Just try!
30-Q: I have less than five people I know that I can have a mystic conversation with – without them thinking I’m crazy. Sometimes I wonder if it’s me that’s losing it ?
30-A: Accept your transformation from caterpillar to butterfly. You'd be a great candidate for the Rosicrucian Order.
31-Q: I have the sense I should delve further into neurofeedback.
31-A: When your "brain space" gets maxed out, you have to eat your old self to become something new. See this concept depicted as the Ouroboros http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ouroboros aka the great awakening.
32-Q: Is an experience just an experience?
32-A: No. An experience is not just an experience. That's your shyness. An experience is your creation. Now you see how stupid it is to live in fear and dread of your own creation. Just turn off the fear and dread. Take command.
33-Q: What exactly is THE SECRET?
33-A: THE SECRET is that you can't be happy unless your mind produces happiness.
34-Q: How do you deal with life’s events that still need interaction/attention?
34-A: What else can you do but express everything that "you" "are" now"? The "you" that is trying to deal with the problem IS ITSELF the problem. That's why YOU have to start eliminating unwanted "you's". Start.
35-Q: How does your childhood affect your future?
35-A: It distorts it by keeping it linear.
36-Q: What is spititual awareness?
36-A: When the mind rejects what's happening, it produces emotion. When it later accepts what's already happened, it converts emotion into spiritual awareness. This "mind" is sadness. That's why you have to be sad to walk the mystic path.
37-Q: I've often heard that life is for the purpose of learning lessons. Is that true?
37-A: You are pretty close about life being the means to learn one's lessons. Here's the part you're missing: Dogmatic Positioning. Eventually you learn the lesson (satori) that "I dont have to live this life 1 second longer". Then you scream with 100% conviction, "I want out of here!" Then you get raptured.
38-Q: How do I heal my inner child?
38-A: There's no such thing. Heal your traumatized adult!
39-Q: I'm not sure why I can’t cross the threshold into Realization.
39-A: The 3 steps to the process are: 1- enlightenment, 2- tapas, 3- self-realization. You are ahead of the game. Cross into enlightenment first.
40-Q: Why do we assume there’s meaning in our thoughts?
40-A: There's meaning in our thoughts, because thats what meaning is. A mind in ecstasy has no thought or meaning and wouldn't want to be burdened by either.
41-Q: An event takes place that grabs my emotional attention. What do I do?
41-A: Great! Your sadness is what is aware. Your sadness is what is empathic and even clarvoyant. You have become bored (resentful) with the life you have known thus far. You have outgrown your childhood. Remaining passive within this sadness and feeling in the dark what your emotional stress responses are is the introspective life, the mystic path. All you have to do is agree to have this magical life shown to you. Choose the unknown life over the known, unhappy, limited life of who you think you are. You just have to face that fear one time.
42-Q: What is the difference between living consciously and unconsciously?
42-A: Unconscious: "I hate politicians because yadda, yadda, yadda..." Conscious: "I hate politicians because I choose to hate politicians."
43-Q: What does Jung mean by individuation? Is it the same as enlightenment?
43-A: Basically yes. It's the self acknowledgement that "I'm in this life for me. Not to be abused."
44-Q: What does Jesus mean by overcoming the world?
44-A: No need to save the world. No need to conquer the world. To achieve this, drop your fear of the pyschotic multitudes.
45-Q: Why do I struggle so much with my need to control my thoughts and emotions?
45-A: You recognize your fear and want to cancel it, but you don't see your crying. Cancel that first and the fear will leave also.
46-Q: I’m trying to work on witnessing/separating the false self. Trying to imagine watching the false self on a movie screen, etc… isn’t working. Any techniques that have worked for you or suggestions?
46-A: Just understand what the false self is. For example, if you are in a near accident and you get scared, see that there was a "you"/false self that got scared. Then there is the YOU that witnesses the false self. So am I saying every time that you have a negative emotional response, you are living from a false self? YES! Why? Because the witnessing true SELF is bliss. Then you just make a list of all the false selves that you witness throughout the course of your daily existence and/or from your memory and then start cancelling them all from your mind with n-e-t.
47-Q: Why is it so challenging to live in the moment constantly negating the false self’s thoughts? It seems like there’s nothingness after a while but (for me) not blissful nothing-ness?
47-Q: Mysticism is a rigorous undertaking. Straight is the path and narrow is the gate and few are those that find it. What seems like nothingness to you is actually emptiness. There's really not a nothingness. Wrong goal. It's oneness. Undivided. Whole. That's when you feel the ecstasy.
48-Q: Something’s going on with the mind/body that I’m being urged to work on.
48-A: That something is your resentment. You resent the monumental task ahead. That's why you (low self esteem false self) keep asking why and looking for a shortcut.
49-Q: Why would one come back into body?
49-A: You come back into body, any body, out of fear of an eternity of nothingness.
50-Q: The false self is tired and frustrated and wants everything now. What do I do?
50-A: If you are a doctor and somebody shows up with pain, you make the pain go away. All you have to do is grasp that the mind, body, spirit, true self, false self is all one unit. You have to be the doctor that makes the pain go away. If you have to learn new skills, then learn new skills. If you have to refer yourself to a specialist, then refer yourself to a specialist. All enlightenment is, is the realization that you dont want to live like this anymore and that you have to take action to
ELIMINATE IDEAS THAT CONFLICT WITH REALITY.
This taking action part, known as the great work, or tapas, little by little results in the transformation known as self realization.
All this can be reduced to: I want to be happy.
Then you can dispense with all the poetic symbolism of the bible, the koran, alchemy, kabbalah, buddhism, yoga, new age, and on and on. ALL that stuff was written by people functioning at less than THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.
51-Q: What does "staying present" mean?
51-A: Staying present = YOUR decision to want to live in ecstasy. Nothing else.
52-Q: What is the difference between magic and mysticism?
52-A: The difference is that magic is a concept of being timid. Thinking "if I could just do it" instead of the universal matrix (numbers) doing their thing. There's the whole failure of magic: seeking control over the elementals instead of oneness with them. Mysticism is the process to eliminate the timid and experience the Oneness.
53-Q: What's the best way to seek enlightenment?
53-A: You can't seek enlightenment. You can only seek Self-realization. The 4 stages of alchemy are: 1- Nigredo-dark night of the soul. My life sucks. I can't be happy no matter what I do. 2- Albedo- enlightenment. Aha! I ACCEPT that there must be something wrong with my mind. 3- Citrinitas-yellowing. Wisdom comes from sorting out what is wrong with my mind and seeing how it all works. 4- Rubido- Self- realization. Nothing more remains wrong with mind. Wholeness. Why then the mystery? Simple. You are too ashamed to accept that there is something wrong with your mind. That's why acceptance brings bliss. As Vernon Howard said, "Let the humiliation come".
54- Q: How does an enlightened person see the world?
54-A: An enlightened person sees the world like he sees low back pain. Knowing what back pain is won't make you go to the chiropractor. Having back pain won't make you go to the chiropractor. Investigating the causes of back pain won't make you go to the chiropractor. BEING SICK OF back pain WILL make you go the chiropractor.
55-Q: Are you saying that to be happy I have to DO SOMETHING to eliminate my feelings of unhappiness instead of trying to satisfy them?
55-A: YES! Cross the threshhold from thinking about happiness to cancelling unhappiness. That is enlightenment. I get it. No more pretense. Acceptance. Accept that you are sad all day long and that your sadness thinks about happiness. Accept that you cry all day long and that your crying thinks about happiness. Accept that you are angry all day long and that your anger thinks about happiness. That's all enlightenment is. It is that split second grasping of seeing the whole screwed up mess in operation and making the decision to do something about it.
56-Q: How can I tell if a spiritual teacher is enlightened or not?
56-A: Simply observe whether they devote the majority of their energy to talking or to purifying their own psyche.
57-Q: What is Wisdom?
57-A: Wisdom is knowing that whatever you are thinking is an idea created by unhappiness.
58-Q: How do I confront my feelings of regret? I mean, if it weren't for that, then I could have this.
58-A: Accept that it did happen, then you will be refreshed/born again in the present. See that THAT is what matters, not things. That's called reality.
59-Q: Telling how simple or what one must do for enlightenment won’t suffice when most are identified with the mind., so we need to know in terms the mind can acknowledge (even knowing the mind will resist). e.g. This is why the mind fears, doubts, hates, etc and here’s what to do to transcend.
59-A: YOU DONT DO ANYTHING FOR ENLIGHTENMENT. YOU STOP DOING. THAT'S WHY NOBODY CAN FIGURE IT OUT.
60-Q: What is enlightenment?
60-A: THE UNDERSTANDING THAT YOU ARE USING A TON OF MENTAL ENERGY TO CREATE FEELINGS OF MISERY.
61-Q: Do all unconscious beings undertake the steps necessary for realizations at some point in one of their lives?
61-A: THERE ARE NO UNCONSCIOUS BEINGS.
62-Q: So, why not now?
62-A: MOST FEAR THE BACKLASH OF REJECTING THE ESTABLISHED POWER STRUCTURE WITHIN SOCIETY. IF YOU ARE IN ENOUGH PAIN, THEN YOU WON'T CARE.
63-Q: Why does it take pain before we seek the Truth?
63-A: YOU SET THE THRESHHOLD OF YOUR OWN AWARENESS.
64-Q: Is understanding and the path different for each individual?
64-A: NOT REALLY. AT WHAT POINT (THRESHHOLD) ARE YOU SICK OF BEING IN PAIN?
65-Q: How do I trust what I read or people tell me?
65-A: DOES IT FIX YOUR PROBLEM?
66-Q: How do I know a true teacher?
66-A: HIS TEACHING REQUIRES ACTION ON THE PART OF THE STUDENT.
67-Q: Am I crazy?
67-A: YOU ARE IF YOU PREFER TO BE IN PAIN ONE SECOND LONGER.
68-Q: What is the mind, why do I think, why can’t I control the mind?
68-A: INFINITY. YOU ARE DISSATISFIED. YOU DONT TRY.
69-Q: Are structured religions of value on the path to enlightenment?
69-A: ALL RELIGIONS ARE FOUNDED BY MYSTICS. JUST READ WHAT THE FOUNDER TOOK THE TROUBLE TO WRITE AND IGNORE THE MORONS WHO CANT GRASP IT.
70-Q: Why doesn’t everyone seek to end their suffering?
70-A: BECAUSE PARENTS RESENT THEIR CHILDREN BUT CALL IT LOVE. ONLY THE FEW ACCEPT THEY ARE BEING ABUSED.
71-Q: I do see the resistance, pain, and suffering but I don’t know what to do.
71-A: YES YOU DO. I'VE TOLD YOU MULTIPLE TIMES.
72-Q: Nothing has worked in the past so my thinking must be flawed.
72-A: YOU HAVENT WORKED IN THE PAST. YOU JUST MULL IT OVER.
73-Q: Die before you die?
73-A: LIVE NOW.
74-Q: Don’t we need some degree of fear, anger, grief etc… to know what bliss or enlightenment is?
74-A: NO. AGAIN YOU THINK SUFFERING HAS VALUE TO YOU.
75-Q: How can you know one without the other? Comparison?
75-A: WHY ARE YOU BOTHERING TO KNOW WHAT SADNESS IS?
76-Q: Are all these steps and study really necessary to be my natural state?
76-A: TURN OFF THE DESIRE TO GO THRU STEPS AND STUDY (THRESHHOLD). THEN YOU WILL BE IN YOUR NATURAL STATE. LIVING WITHOUT THRESHHOLDS. UNLIMITED. BOUNDLESS. UNDEFINED. INFINITE. ECSTATIC.
77-Q: If not, why are so many people lost?
77-A: BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE UNWILLING TO ADMIT THEIR MOTHER HATES THEM. THAT CANT BE, CAN IT?
78-Q: I’m tired of the pain and suffering?
78-A: BULLSHIT!
79-Q: How do I reach Self-realization?
79-A: See the book TM (Transcendental Meditation). In there you will find the university study about how the amount of bliss energy can control the square of misery. To understand that clearly, here's how it goes: If you have 1 person in bliss, he can contol the mind of another person in misery. 2 people can control 4. 3 can control 9 and so on. Likewise in your own mind, 1 neuron in bliss can control another in misery (sadness for example) and suspend it from acting out its impulse to do something stupid. If you just start with n-e-t, every negative emotion you convert into bliss gives you a geometric advance. Doesn't take long to go from lost sheep to master of the universe.
80-Q: Is the meaning of life to be happy or to help others be happy?
80-A: Life has no meaning. It is free will. Sadness seeks meaning. Sadness is not life. Sadness is a failure to accept life/free will.
81-Q: "If I actually were a man, would I be just like my father"? Or would I maybe pick some other man to be just like? (Then that's the kind of man I'd be attracted to.)
81-A: No you would not be just like your father. For example, in my case my choice was:
Well, let's see...
My father works 60hrs a week and is driving himself to an early grave for nothing.
My mother sits around the house and complains.
I choose to be more like my mother. One of them has to teach you how to live after all.
This sets up a conflict which seeks expression thru the self image like this: I'm learning to think like a woman and if I actually were a woman I'd be like _________ ie. Loni Anderson. Then that's the type you are attracted to. That explains why people have a "my type".
Now this only works if you are a psychologically abused child living in fear. That's what causes you to choose some "powerful" icon to admire in the first place. Unfortuneately, that's pretty much everybody. If you are female and choose to be more like your mother, you will never see this pain in a million years. This is what generates the mental discriminatory function of being either a matcher or mismatcher.
82-Q: Do you mean that resentment manipulating things is what's now making life seem kinda fun?
82-A: Yes, resentment is what needs fun because it's a substitute for love. Without fun, all you have is fear and then you have to rely on low self esteem to imagine the power to get out of it.
83-Q: I don't know if everything you say is right, but so much of it seems, I don't know--something. (Boy, is that unclear.)
83-A: I would say that "something" you feel is humiliating. As Vernon Howard wrote, "Let the humiliation come. You will be free."
84-Q: What can you tell me about the 28 year solar cycle?
84-A: As you look deeply into the solar cycle, it suddenly becomes apparant that nothing is "up to" "you". The system is designed by a higher power (your sadness) aka the Tarot Queen energy. "You" (crying) is the Tarot Knight energy chasing your tail in effort to find the way out. This is what we call making a living. Since the higher power is sadness, that means it's reflective, which is why we call it a mirror.
85-Q: Where do I find the source of my hostility?
85-A: Hostility is an aspect of low self esteem. This is what creates the pressure wave to construct your world view. This low self esteem hostility is the guardian of an underlying timid. This timid is what makes you think you don't love yourself/aren't loveable. At this level of unraveling, you are very close to completely recovering from child abuse.
86-Q: I see why your comments didn’t resonate with me. Mysticism is focused on happiness. I was equating mysticism and enlightenment as synonyms.
86-A: You fight to put everything in a box so you can understand it. Then what? You feel better about yourself. Enlightenment comes at that very instance when you realize what a waste of life this is. Mysticism is the process to undo learned unhappiness. Mysticism is synonomous with spiritual alchemy. Enlightenment is to mysticism what the albedo is to alchemy. The resurrection from the dead. Dead meaning unaware that you are unhappy 24/7. That's why Jesus talks about the quick and the dead and the living god (bliss consciousness).
The stages of alchemical transformation are:
0- Non player- I have no clue what you are talking about. God knocked-up Mary and therefore Jesus is the son of God, right?
1- Nigredo- Gradual collapse into receptivity of truth. I tried everything the world said would bring me happiness, but it hasn't. I'm more stressed than when I started.
2- Albedo- Sudden enlightenment that comes when you are no longer afraid of the truth. Oh, I get it. The world is full of idiots who don't know what the hell they're talking about. The only way to be happy 24/7 is to not be sad 24/7!!! Sadness is just an idea in my mind. I think I am sad. I just have to stop thinking I'm sad. Then obviously I would have to be happy by default.
3- Citrintas- Not only am I sad, I'm afraid, angry, shy etc. and this stuff is all in my mind. Lord, this is a big job, but WHAT ELSE CAN I DO? Restoring my mind to it's NORMAL state of happiness is all that matters anymore. It's all that can matter. The pearl of great price. Now I see what Jesus was talking about.
4-Rubido. Reward for a job well done. Success. Ecstasy. Completion. Restoration. Harmony. Oneness. Truth.
Happiness is the bright aspect of the mind. Unhappiness in all its variations is the dark aspect of the mind. That's all that there is to it. Now then, which do you want for your 24/7 existence? With enlightenment, negativity is seen as SOMETHING YOU DON'T WANT. With enlightenment comes the realization that you have to do some weed pulling. Pulling the weeds is the great work or jihad. With every weed you pull you are that much happier. The uprooting of the final weed restores all the glory to the garden. Self Realization. With enlightenment comes the realization that you can't do anything to make yourself happy EXCEPT pull weeds. Start pulling weeds. Use meditation, n-e-t, neurotherapy, whatever. If you want to be happier in an hour than you are now, start NOW.
What more can I say? Only you can decide that happiness is what you want.
